The Taste of Mayfair at the Jersey St Shoppette celebrates the vibrancy of our neighborhood and supports the independent businesses that make our convivial community shake, rattle and roll. It’s a full-day jubilation jam-packed with arts and crafts, food, libations, live music and fun with your neighbors. The Taste of Mayfair takes place in the Shoppette parking lot.

DATE: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH, 2024 from 12:00-7:00 pm

WHAT: Do you have a business in the Mayfair Neighborhood that you’d like your neighbors to know more about? We’d love to hear from you! For reference, our Mayfair neighborhood borders are (clockwise from the north) East Colfax, Monaco, 6th Avenue and Eudora, an area that encompasses more than 3,200 households.

APPLICATION DUE DATE: Completed applications will be reviewed and we will contact you if you’re approved by our juried committee.

2021 FAIR STATS:

  • 1,500 plus visitors

  • 21 booths

  • 25-30 Booths available for 2024, so sign up early!

​

TYPES OF VENDORS WE CONSIDER:​

  • Show-quality, artistically unique and personally hand-crafted and designed arts and crafts. Mass-produced items are not allowed

  • Local farmers whose bounty includes items like fresh vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, flowers, plants, honey, eggs and dairy products

  • Ready-to-eat-and-drink food and beverages. All prepared food-and-drink vendors must show appropriate Colorado Department of Health certification to the market manager. These permits must be displayed in public view during the entirely of the market

  • All prepared food processing equipment/trailers must comply with Denver County Health Department rules and regulations

  • Baked goods and other food items. We consider items grown and/or handmade by the vendor — including baked goods, preserves, cheese, sausages and smoked meats. All processed foods must be appropriately labeled with product name, ingredients, net weight, price and vendor’s name and address

  • Handmade pet products, including leashes, collars and handkerchiefs

  • Handmade bath, body and beauty products

FAQ’S, RULES AND POLICIES FOR VENDOR BOOTHS

​

BOOTH COST: $50 per booth space 

 

BOOTH SPACE: Booth spaces are 10’ wide x 10’ deep and arranged in row format in the Jersey St Shopette parking lot. Artisans and vendors are required to supply their own tent (and weights), as well as any racks, tables, chairs and display fixtures. We do not supply electricity.

 

​SETUP AND TAKEDOWN: Vendors must set up by 11:30 a.m., which is 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. We prohibit vendors from bringing in merchandise while the market is underway. Tear down may commence at the end of market, at 7 p.m., or earlier with prior permission.
 

CLEANUP: Please be a good guest and thoroughly clean up any trash or debris around your booth space when you depart. Bring a broom if necessary to clean your area.

VENDOR SPACE POLICIES​

  • Vendors must show product liability insurance. Vendors must comply with all State and Local Health regulations. Vendors must obtain any state and local permits and are responsible for any taxes. No scales are to be used in the market; vendors must provide pre-measured products​

​

  • No dissemination of fliers, handbills, posters, signage etc. is permitted without prior approval of the marketing manager. Blatantly soliciting or shouting to attract customers is not allowed. Any disruptive behavior by booth operator and/ or their employees will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave​

​

  • You must handle your own taxes, insurance and health permits. Please check with the City and County of Denver to evaluate whether these requirements apply to you​

​

  • We will not be held liable for vendors' actions. We will not be responsible for accidents or lost articles. Liability insurance is the responsibility of each individual vendor​

​

  • Any sampling or tasting of products must adhere to all Health Department guidelines. No smoking in booths by vendors. This is a Health Department regulation
